Granddaughters and Going the Right Way

When I was little my mom worked for my grandpa in his Tax office.
Every morning before work my mom would drop me off at grandma’s house.
Whenever my dad would take me  on a drive I would scream from my car seat in the back
“You are going the wrong way!”
I would say this over and over.
Finally my Dad decided to ask me where to go.
From the tops of the trees I pointed him the 15 minute drive all the way to grandma’s house.
The other night we were walking to an area we previously decided to go when I had the thought
“We are going the wrong way.”
 We stop to pray.
A few names come to mind so we turn around to go see them.
Through this we found a young grandma who needed the words of two grown up granddaughters.
My companion had beautiful insight and I knew we went the right way.
Alma 37 :6-7
"
Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise.
And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls."

(I know this is a picture of my grandma and grandsons but aren't they cute? :)

  1. "You're going the wrong way!" I can still hear your little girl voice saying this in my head. I'm still amazed that you knew the path even though your view was not of the ground, but of the sky. God has a path for all of us and we can learn to follow it by looking toward Him. I love your thoughts, keep them coming! :D
