This week I had a reality check.
As missionaries we go door to door talking about Christ.
By doing this we see some crazy things.
Some crazy amazing and others crazy scary.
Why then do we keep doing this?
Why do we keep asking and trying?
Because after this week I know with out a doubt that people do not need crazy scary in their lives.
We do not need to linger in that darkness.
We Must seek the light.
and yes I said must
Meaning something that is set in stone.
Why?
Well, here is some Sister Borchardt logic.
stone is rock
The Rock is Christ
When we build on Christ we cannot fall
Helaman 5:12
"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation;
that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts
in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm
shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down
to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye
are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build
they cannot fall."
Build your foundation where you can't fall.
Thank you for sharing that! I know in my own life I've tried to put my trust in other things besides God and it just doesn't work! Nothing else can ever sustain us like Jesus Christ can.
